Am I the only WHM who rather have a wand and shield vs staff relic?

Nope, or a stave and shield would be better. No reason a stave couldn't be wielded with one hand...

White mages should always use two handed staffs. The pitiful protection from the shield isn't gonna save you. Better to have your heals as strong as they can be.

ah the good old days of DAOC. I miss watching the albs swarm over the hill by the thimble and get promptly farmed by my friends and I. Man I loved that game, so sad Mythic went and fk'd it up.

edit: And OP no yo aren't the only one. I don't mind the staff but I'd like a shield and wand combo as well.

Yes, Camelot Unchained, I donated to the kickstarter. Really hope it comes out because it sounds pretty bad ass.

Warhammer online pretty much tanked Mythic I think. It's to bad, Warhammer online had a LOT of potential to be great but they did typical Mythic stupidity. I bought it at launch. I remember there was a combo that both sides could do, the mutated side (can't remember the name) could do it easier. There was one ability that pulled every hostile target in a frontal cone up to the caster, this was on a light tank/melee dps in the mutant side. It was on the engineer for the alliance characters a rarely played class. You'd pull everyone in and have a sorceress aoe everyone down. People really were screaming for them to fix this.

Mythics response, "we're going to increase sorceress AOE dmg"

No reason for their not to be a wand/stave and shield combo with stats equal to that of a 2H Stave.

I blame EA, were they not in transition of being bought out during WAR's development!? Regardless I still blame EA for everything...

Weapon locked jobs was a silly idea, WHM should be able to use wand+shield imo.

You spent Tomes on DL shield for ur whm >.<; But i hated useing 1h+shield.. just clunky and silly. I love the 2h staffs
