Oh I know what coil is: the exclusive club for leet gamers and only leet gamers. We are talking top 1% type content. Besides it has raid lockout mechanics and from what I read quite a few FCs clear turn 1-4 in an hour. So once that's done in 1-2 hours...WHAT next? Run AK some more?

eh we've been able to clear up to turn 4 its actually not that hard and were running green groups in now with little to no effort o.O It's not that bad...

Just because a game loses a lot of it's starting players does not mean it's a failure. I actually enjoy games better when people don't insult others simply because they've burnt themselves out trying to be the best. If the game has gone down the drain for you it's only because you've allowed it to.

As people have said a lot, this game will most likely never go free to play, Yoshi-P even said this himself giving the reason that SE have entirely funded this themselves and owe nothing to anyone. I'm not sure what's so hard to grasp about this, especially when there are so many computer/internet "experts" in this forum.

Does this excuse the fact that they shipped the game with a single 4 man dungeon and that's it?

And the answer is to find uber leet guild to run Coil or quit?

I have played many 'raid or die' MMOs that had far more content than this.

Ah good old stereo typing and name calling. I wonder what the world would be like if there was no such things as those?

I dunno, probably a much nicer world to live in.

I have to say, if you're playing the game for more than 10 hours a day every day you will inevitably get bored of it regardless of how much content there is. No game will ever be a substitute for real life. The stereotyping is wrong but the point is true, there will never be enough for some people.

This game is fine. I just really wish i hadn't rolled on a legacy server. I joined because a friend practically BEGGED our guild to play with him. Started a Free Company, was in my 40s 2nd week after release and then BAM. My friend tells us "We just don't have enough players doing End-Game, I'm gonna leave yall and join this 'uber' 1.0 guild that can do speedruns 24 hours a day."

Ugh.... We were all so close too, he took a bunch of people with him and left a bunch of newbies alone on a Legacy server....

That stinks man.. My FC is on Balmung.. We're not quite to end-game yet though but are slowly working our way there. But hey, if you're looking for people to do stuff with, look us up..

I have played Everquest, Everquest 2, Rift, Wow, Swtor, and now A realm Reborn.
All good games. Some held my attention longer then others. Content is a biggy, but in any of them, you should take your time to enjoy the game, enjoy the scenery, and just enjoy playing them, or don't play at all! It's really that simple! If the only thing you worry about is getting to max level, you never really learn to play your character as well as someone who took the time to learn your characters positives, and negatives. You have to know your toons limitations as well as your spells. I have been playing for only a few weeks, and attained level 17, but more importantly, have enjoyed the trip so far.
