How is Praetorium faster than CM>?

Only if you do a perfect run.

Find a party with 1 WHM, 1 tank and 6 dds, you'll get a 15-20 minutes run for 100 ToP.

Because unless SE fixed it you can train to the teleporter click it and mobs don't follow

In my personal opinion, Praetorium can be a bit faster but not by a lot. In CM it is easier for group to aggro patrolling mobs and group has to take out those or they turn on the group. In Peartorium, the 1st and 3rd set can be avoided even if someone aggros because one can take the lift and if other dies, just use shortcut to get to group. CM bosses are easier compare to Praetorium. Ultima first form can be quite annoying if you don't know the routine.
When I was first in CM, I have no idea how the canon works (have to click it first to see the option and if got hit need to do it again)) but till I get to Praetorium, everyone got their own canon mount and the buttons shows, much better to work them out.

I think fast or slow depends on who you are running with. I am patient, speed or not but the only thing I can not tolerate is leeching (AFker) and verbal abusing members. I have a few DF with people having fun together and it is very enjoyable even it's not a speed run.

I usually do Praetorium ond DF, there are no problems IF YOU ARE ON PC.
Because I'm on PS3, and PS3 takes something like 5 seconds more than PC to skip cutscenes, so I'm always left behind even if I'm the only healer.
Last time we were in a 2 whm group because of a mistake from the leader in inviting people, they left me behind, I got my free tomestones of philosophy while sitting near the Magitek Armor, and then they kicked me because I was "too slow".
And the party even before, I got kicked before starting without any motivation, and when I sent a tell to the leader he answered me with a "?????" which I assume being a censored offensive word.
I really hate people that doesn't wait, because even waiting me you can easily get a 20 minutes run without any problem.

Praet is easier to titan-egi tank than cm, so you can actually go 7 dps / 1 healer here for even faster kills more reliably than CM (no praet bosses have adds that matter).

Praet is "faster", cause there are less ways for people to screw up. As long as they deal good DPS, there is nothing stopping you from getting 20-25min runs done. On CM...people accidentally aggro patrolling mobs that can be avoided, attack mobs that should be ignored, people die on bosses cause of the adds that are not taken care of etc etc.

Praetorium is straight forward. almost no trash, half of which is skippable. Rest is all bosses without any adds. As long as you know what Ultima is doing and how to avoid it, Prae is easier to not screw up and faster to beat than CM. Especially with Randoms. And while CM can be done with 1 Tank and 1 Healer...Prae is a lot easier with 1 Tank and 1 Healer in comparison.
