Just as I replied in the last thread I am also getting bad lag. This time it seems to have worsened however. Whereas before only my sending would drop to zero, now either my sending or receiving will drop. If not both.

I just got out of AK, my group had to call it quits just after the first boss;
I was on Paladin, couldn't tank to save my life because of the lag, I couldn't stun, mobs would freeze onscreen for around 30 sec before finally falling from full hp to 0. Same with the first boss but on that the freeze was much longer. I'd sit there spamming every hate grabbing move that I could and prayed to the twelve I held it (Miraculously, I did! haha... Atleast I think... it died facing me if that counts?)
I asked my party if anyone else had issues and they said it was choppy at times but fine, others in my linkshell though complained of the same issues.
Looks like I'm stuck crafting again until something is done about it~
Act in such a way that you treat humanity, whether in your own person or in the person of another, always at the same time as an end and never simply as a means
There can't be a single topic on this forum where people agree SE is at fault or at least SE should be doing something can there? Always have to have a few people jumping on the posters saying they're not smart enough to tell when the issue isn't on their side, also that it's all their fault.
Trolls, leave them, don't feed them, let them die.There can't be a single topic on this forum where people agree SE is at fault or at least SE should be doing something can there? Haven't had much lag, only in dungeons

Bray final boss is pretty much impossible with the lag issues at the moment. Tried two nights in a row, with competent groups both nights- no dice. Hope SE gets a handle on this soon.
Yes, I tried running Brayflox last night, and I felt really bad for our tank. He was having lag issues all through the dungeon and tried relogging a few times to see if that would help, but the end boss was straight-up impossible. On every attempt, he would freeze for upwards of 30 seconds at some point--getting hit with every breath, not being able to move the dragon out of the pools, etc.--and eventually I just ran out of MP due to constant Esuna/Cure 2 spam required to heal him through the breaths. It wasn't his fault; he had been playing fine through the rest of the dungeon, even with the occasional lag spikes, but we eventually had to call the run because it was obvious we weren't going to be able to complete it.
I ran tracert to 184.107.107.176 . Tested various packet sizes to be sure. 36ms turn around time to the ip address. If this is the valid address my connection to it is awesome. I have also had Comcast recertify my line is clean and myself have gone to dslreports and pingtest.net to make sure I could get a good verification. No lag or latency issues on my end to be sure. A+ line , 1ms jitter, no packet loss. I get freeze or lag spikes if that's what they are called. I think its the servers going to the toilet. Even in the past few weeks never as bad as this. Sure the instances get crowded and I lag once in awhile but not freeze up like this. Nothing at all compared to what happened after this past maint period this past Monday. I guess patching the rmt tele hack really messed things up. This freeze issue is not limited to the instance servers. I get it in the outside doing crafting or gathering as well. World is Hyperion.
I also started to have weird rubberbanding effect since monday. It is hard to even harvest. Server is Balmung
