    Bonus SP/Rewards for "dead" areas

In some areas/regions of the game, there are a lot fewer players around. So to encourage people to visit less populated regions, why not give bonus SP and rewards to people who do a GL in that area? For example, if half the population does GLs in the desert town, the coastal and forest towns get the bonus.

Obviously things like rank need to be accounted for, but in general, if there are rewards for spreading out, players will be more likely to do so.

This is an interesting idea...gonna have to think about it for a bit. Trying to think if this could be abused in any way.

It kinda reminds me of the dynamic prices for guns in Counterstrike. Was that a good idea?

If there's bonus SP to be had, I think no matter where it is, that's where people will flock to. Suddenly the desert would be empty and the forest would be full. Sorry but I don't think this suggestion would solve anything.

Eh I like it, but then Gridania wouldn't be dead and I'd have to deal with major lag from tons of parties :/ I know dead areas suck, but I'm taking advantage of their lag freeness

i'd like to see them fix our regular sp grinding too, make regular grinding after our leves are done doable, no one is regular grinding/party grinding. i say what needs to be done is if we can get 120k in 5hours of leves, then regular grind should give us 120k in 5hours of grinding. tired of sitting there after leves are all said and dun and saying i got nothing else to do.

more sp on anything like the op suggestion is cool, but lot of people are starting to do the good leves in other zones too. people are doing only the ones worth doing thus why they empty. if they make them worth more then the others will be empty. if they make them all the same sp, then they will do the ones that are the fasted to do. i'd love to see them make everything equal, so things don't become empty like in ffxi. as time goes in ffxi each exp grind camps became useless to the new ones. if only they added the same bonus's to the older spots there would of been lots of different places to grind equally an gives the world a change of pace but i dunno why they don't. i can only think of they want everyone in one spot to keep the worlds looking full.

I see the exploit already, people putting alts at one point, to spam up the quests, which adds the SP to the other point where the mains are. Sad we live in a world where we need to pre-empt the exploitation before it happens, but this is how it rolls

Odd, if more people go to those areas, the less bonus SP you'd get and eventually they'd lose it all together. Vaz, good point, maybe make it by GLs completed rather than GLs taken. However spamming up quests wouldn't matter if the primary zone isn't "dead". Just because it doesn't receive full attention of the players, if it's over a threshold then it doesn't need bonus SP.
