I ignore the errors with a similar macro setup, but I've also encountered <mo> failing to work with mouse on party member names or over their characters on occasion.. good way to blow a Lustrate for instance >_<;
Has nothing to do with latency. The <mo> tag is just bugged and will occasionally provide the /action command with your name instead of the name of the person under your mouse. I reported the bug a few weeks ago (well, and in phase 2/3 also) and it's been moved over to the accepted bugs section so hopefully that means they're doing something about it.
I will say, though, that the bug seems to occur more frequently if you spam your macros. Try to get into the habit of pressing your heal key exactly once and it becomes much more reliable. I've been healing coil using mouseovers and it only fucks up very rarely, certainly not often enough to warrant swapping back to regular target-click casting.
Of course, if you get into a situation where you panic and start mashing the keys (say, because someone's about to die) you're more likely to experience the issue. Kinda sucks.
Very good to know! Will be great when this gets fixed.Has nothing to do with latency. That is a horrible macro to use, stick with <mo> only, ill tell you why.
If by chance you go out of range of the person you are trying to heal with that macro, it will cast it on yourself instead and you will not know it until it's to late, which could lead to a tank death. This is most likely what you are experiencing, being out of range of the person you are trying to <mo> heal.
If you are just using <mo> you will be unable to cast until you move close enough to be in range of the person you are healing, preventing you from accidently healing yourself instead of the tank and being none the wiser.
Bad bad macro, <mo> only.
That was not the case for me, I used the same Macro for a while but even if I was right next to the person I intended to heal, the macro would sometimes malfunction and skip both <mo> and <t>. This issue can also be experienced with DD classes where you have two or more buffs on the macro and it will skip some of the macro lines even though the buffs you intend to use are off the cooldown.If by chance you go out of range of the person you are trying to heal with that macro, it will cast it on yourself instead and you will not know it until it's to late...

I guess everyone has different experiences but I use the same macro and have no issues with it. I do use a Naga mouse don't know if that makes a difference. I just mouse over party bar and I click 1 on the mouse. I don't mouse over the battlefield as I find that it's not that effective for me as mousing over the party bar. I will leave fairy near melee and tank if I'm moving a lot and most of the time the fairy can take care of it, if i'm out of position.
