I think you might need to do Aurum Vale before Amdapor becomes available.

You do need Aurum Vale to unlock AK...

Unless there is another way I don't know about...If you try and go to Nedric in Vesper's it will tell you that you need Aurum Vale.

You don't need Aurum Vale if you get the quest to go to AK through your grand company quest line. The leader will send you to AK near the end of the quest line. So thats the other alternative to running Aurum Vale.

I was able to get into AK before AV since my GC sent me there. However I was unable to get the AK quest for credit for my Relic until I did the AV quest Nedric wanted me to do.
