Customizable Controls

I play a PC version and I really like being able to use a Logitech controller (very similar layout to a PS3 controller) to play this game. However, I would like more abilities to map or completely unmap certain abilities to it.

In particular, I would like to have one button that I can have not set to anything (probably R3) which I can use for push to talk for voice chat. Instead right now it is also set to switch to first person view, so everytime I talk I have to zoom in/out.

Secondly I would like the ability to switch back to the last preset layout we were just on so that I can go forward through my presets with R1 and backwards with L1 instead of having to hold R1 and press a directional button each time I want to switch back and forth (this is how it worked in FFXI).

Regarding the unmapping of buttons, I believe I read that this was soemthing that was going to be added in the upcoming patch (2.1) if I recall.

As for switching your crossbars, if you uncheck the "shared cross bar" box in the options menu it will keep each job separate and you can hit R1 to cycle through them. I found this out after playing with the settings. Though, you will have to go back and re-do the bars that were shared for each class.

Thanks Kaliban. Yes I'm familiar with this, but I would like the ability to cycle through hot bars both forwards and backwards. So for instance, I have combat abilities set on both my hotbar 1 keybinds and hotbar 2, and I want to be able to switch quickly between the two. Preferably I should be able to hit R1 to switch to my second bar, and then L1 to go right back to the previous hot bar, instead of having to cycle through all of my hotbars (or hold R1 and press a direction each time I want to switch to/from).
