Quick Question.
Is there a way to map UI, settings from one character to the next so as not to have to format each character? Was looking at a "save" option etc.
Thanks for any help.

Not yet, however, I believe they are implementing somehting for this in patch 2.1. check the dev tracker in the thread "Some suggestions, mostly quality of life, obvious things" if it was listen in forums, its likely in this thread somewhere
"Welcome to the ranks of the blue mages. However, at this moment you are but an empty vessel--a base creature, weaker than the most ordinary mortal. A blue mage must wrest her strength and vitality from her enemies. Show me your hunger for unrivaled power! This is the only guidance I shall give you."

Awesome. Thanks for the quick reply. New to game and was setting up alts (Already, I know LOL). I can wait on them then.....to lazy. ;p
I found a way to do this by finding the files in my documents and copying them to the other characters I have I am currently in work so can't explain easily with out use of my computer I will update this in a few hours with how I did it
Also just a quick question was wondering the reason for alts as this game seems to lean away for the need of alts

LOL, no idea on this game. Started last night, but for me, I like to play all three classes (Tank, heal, dps), so I'm making all three. I'll pick a main, get him up and raiding with a guild, then go back and work on my alts as either a distraction from my main, a chance to raise other crafters, learn the other classes real well, and to eventually raid them, etc. It's just a fun thing for me to do as part of my overall game-play.

Double post
What pains me most is that hotbar is job based and I hate that x(
I'm with ya, buddy. I like having alts that have different play styles. And this game does promote having alts, despite what people seem to think. Why else would you be able to create up to 8 characters on one world (40 characters max). Some people might like playing different races, some just have active imaginations and want different types of characters that don't all play the same style. To each his/her own, I say.LOL, no idea on this game. Started last night, but for me, I like to play all three classes (Tank, heal, dps), so I'm making all three.
