
Yeah, but at that price we're getting 2-3 expansions worth of content in the form of patches plus active day to day changes. We're not just paying for server up keep. :PHmm… WoW charges $15/month, $180/year. That's more than enough to rent a bit of the server and to get 2 extra games per year. To run a MMO could be expensive 10 years ago, now with the cost of one old server at the time they buy a server dozens of times more powerful. And the connections are even cheaper. Not that it really matters because I monitored the FF XIV bandwidth and it is 5MB… per hour. Less than 60Kbps per user.
