Game Heading in the Dull and Boring Direction

Does anyone else feel this game is just FATES and Dungeons. When Yoshi is talking about 2.1 it just sounds like more zerg FATES and more boring instanced dungeons. I'm enjoying the game so far but it is getting very boring and its seems like just more of the same boring crap is being added in. The only thing that might be fun in 2.1 is PVP and maybe crystal tower.

I'm getting disappointed in these "Events."
Moonfaerie - Boring FATE.
Lightning - A FATE where crap doesn't load and such because too many people and so on.
Dragon Quest and XI - Same as Lightning. I already know the turn-out of these events, because trust me, I'm a Time Traveler.
Not hard to forsee with current events anyways where FATE's won't load.
I hope they do much better in these events that aren't FATE based. You already have to grind these dumb things to get anywhere.

Just hope for more exciting thing in later patches. Hoping Minigames and such.

It's only as exciting as you want it to be. If you don't find the current content fun and exciting step back and stop playing the game till it suits you. Move to the suggestion forums and suggest ways on how to make the game more exciting and fun for "EVERYONE".

It's an MMO what were you expecting?

Maybe everyone's expectations should notch upwards a few clicks so MMO devs would make actual games instead of thinly veiled skinner boxes. Just a thought.

I've found myself camping a lot for Odin/Behemoth lately, but I agree some more open world content would be nice.
