    Computer version

    Currently I'm playing the PS3 version, but I've been considering getting the computer version as well. When I ran the benchmark before the game was released I scored around 2200.

    I'm wondering if anyone else got a score around that lvl and is playing the PC version and how does it play? Good? Bad? Terrible?

    Any info would be nice
    Thanks

    it should be functional at minimum settings, but don't expect great framerates. it's going to be playable in instances, but you're going to see major slowdown in crowded places.

    FYI my computer also scored around 2200 and it is totally playable with medium settings (30+ fps most of the time). Only noticeable slowdown I got is when people are gathering for fates or in maps with important NPCs who initiate many quests such as adventurer's guild in Ul'dah.

    Not knowing your budget situation/current specs you could probably invest under $200 and greatly upgrade your experience also. I was playing on max settings with a $100'ish GPU before my current upgrades.

    He would still have to purchase a PS4 for $400-500. He could do some minor upgrades and purchase a copy of the game for half that.

    His computer sounds to have roughly the same performance of his PS3. Yeah, he could probably spend $200-$300 to get a new(er) graphics card and RAM to boost the computer's performance.

    @spook
    I wouldn't recommend purchasing the game for the pc for the above reason. Without knowing your computer specs and which system you primarily game one (I suspect the PS3), your money on computer upgrades and game may suit you better to just getting the PS4.
