How do you macro /wait based on a changing global cooldown?

I see everyone using /wait 2.5 (for example) to script macros for battle combos, but the problem is the use of food changes this number and makes it more dynamic.

Is there any variable one can use to reference the Global Cooldown vs. a hardcoded number? For example:

    /wait [timer-gcd]

    Or something along those lines?

Or is there another, more efficient wait to macro a combination of moves other than /ac and /wait?

wait 2.5 is non-existant, only whole seconds works with the wait command. there is no global cooldown option for wait, and you wouldnt need it either, as you will always write 3 seconds.

Well that explains that. So it's currently impossible to create macros that execute as soon as they are ready/available (for chain commands?)

Macro in this game... Macro are supposed to set things faster/easier. The way it works now make them pointless. And the lie behind why decimals were removed is not acceptable.
The bots could not care less to wait 3 secondes instead of 2.2, it is a bot it doesn't care at all...
