Where has this been debunked? I haven't found anything.

Basically with penta-melded 2-star HQ jewelery you are getting +27 to main stats (vs. 15 of Allagan), and then +24 of secondary stats (vs. 27 of Allagan). How is this not better? Especially considering some of the Allagan secondary stats are useless (such as skill speed).

I like1 HQ gryphon with all IV or V Materias with no red hard caps over one i90 ring personally, and that's only because I don't know the stat ceiling yet.
