Need Melding Advice for Paladin

I'm looking to buy the Valor Boots and Gloves as my next myth tome purchase, but I realize that using Hoplite pants is going to really hurt my accuracy. I had the idea of getting some HQ Milita Trousers and melding materia to them to make up for the decrease till I could get the Valor Pants.

Unfortunately, I'm pretty ignorant to how melding works and what the limits and costs are. I would be grateful if someone could give me an example of what I could meld and the kind of trouble I'm looking at going through.

If you have the money, just get Rose Gold/Gryphonskin accessories stuff and meld some VIT on.

that's plenty. get rose gold earscrews as they only require 9 peacock ore (you could even grind the phil tomes needed for the mats, that would drop it to 75k), and meld them for 10vit 12parry.

I would recommend getting Head piece frist then body. (AF2 head will give you some acc) DL pant is the last piece you want to upgrade since it a huge chunk of ACC.

I'm actually already wearing AF2 Head and body with +1 Shield. I went ahead and found a weaver who helped me figure out the stat caps for the trousers and got it all done. If anyone is curious, its already capped on STR, VIT, and parry. So I ended up melding 7 accuracy and 11 determination to it. So I end up with higher overall stats wearing those pants and buying AF2 gloves and boots than if I were to just buy the AF2 pants and wear Hoplite boots.
