Whispering Maple Wand - WTH?

new to alchemy and just started doing levequests

trying to create a whispering maple wand but system keeps coming back with "you do not have the required materials" even though i have maple wand "selected" along with the crystals and the growth formula alpha
first time i've run into "unselected", "selected" and must be missing something

what am i missing?

Sounds like you're doing everything correct...

My first instinct was to say that you cannot synthesize using items that are in your Armory Chest, but if that was the problem, then it wouldn't allow you move a Maple Wand into "Selected".

Either you didn't have the item actually selected (right click on it in the recipe and select it) or you had only HQ items for one of the components and didn't have it manually selected (since it only auto-selects NQ).

If you do possess the item, make sure it's in the inventory, not the armory.

always check to make sure if its HQ or normal since u gotta assign the HQ mats b4 u can start the recipe ;/

Do you have the required shards or class

I had this problem when I started crafting. I was not clicking on the icon in the reciepe (can't spell for my life) menu to actually select the lower level item. Just because the icon is showing does not mean you have selected the required piece of equipment. Hope this helps.

do you have _both_ GFAlphas? (Ask me how long I swore at that recipe until I noticed that "2".)
