Make a premade or find a group that isn't requiring the better gear. You don't need anything more than a GC weapon to kill Titan. Farming the Ifrit weapon, on ANY class, is a completely pointless endeavor due to the extremely small gain it grants. The majority of people won't even notice it.
Besides that, if you or the OP really wanted to farm for a better weapon, you should've just farmed Garuda, who drops a much better weapon.

SE should feel bad for this. What a moronic drop implementation.[TL;DR I have had 1 paladin sword dropped in 205 Ifrit Hard Mode kills. I don't feel geared enough to continue my relic weapon quest with my level 55 green scimitar.]
Here are the results:
Warrior Axe: 61 (29.8%)
Scholar's Codex: 42 (20.5%)
Arcanist's Grimoire: 35 (17.1%)
Monk's Arm: 28 (13.7%)
Black Mage's Cudgel: 13 (6.3%)
Dragoons lance: 12 (5.9%)
Bard's Bow: 8 (4%)
White Mage's Staff: 5 (2.4%)
Paladins Sword: 1 (0.5%)
This is the exact reason they implemented tokens in 1.0. I'd like to know what idiot thought it was a good idea to remove that system.
Sorry, I find this hilarious. In the time it took you to run those 200+ ifrits, you could've done 11 CM runs, bought 9 coke, and had someone craft you the i70 sword, which is better than everything but relic...Wasted your time.
Well, I'm sorry but I believed with RNG that there would be more than a 0.5% chance of me getting my paladin sword. You know, chance being even and all.
Feel you pain, sad but we can't do anything about it, your bad luck must have made up at least 2 people get their weapon at first time.
Maybe SE should secretly implement a rule that, the drop rate will be affected by people's bad luck, so if you are the one in the team with highest number of Boss fights and haven't got the weapon yet, the drop rate for your weapon will be increased.
So people will still have good luck and bad luck, but those bad luck ones won't be getting a desperate stage like OP.
It's not the game's fault they took out an existing primal token system that admittedly rarely dropped those tokens in the first place except for the hardest primal, it's clearly your fault for wasting time doing content and trying to get the weapon you actually wanted instead of spending money and tomestones you could be spending on better gear on crafting or buying a craftable weapon. Lern2play and git gud!
Ifrit sword isn't even very good dude. Just go on without it.
I'm sure it's been mentioned, but there is a craftable iLvl 70 sword that is easily on par with Garuda's Gaze when HQ'd, and much better than it when melded. So there are other options. Hell, with the philosophy tokens you obtained from 205 Ifrit Runs you'd have more than enough to buy the coke in order to the craft the sword.
