30 days almost up and I still can't enter endgame due to droprate

Feel you pain, sad but we can't do anything about it, your bad luck must have made up at least 2 people get their weapon at first time.
Maybe SE should secretly implement a rule that, the drop rate will be affected by people's bad luck, so if you are the one in the team with highest number of Boss fights and haven't got the weapon yet, the drop rate for your weapon will be increased.
So people will still have good luck and bad luck, but those bad luck ones won't be getting a desperate stage like OP.

I think it's rather fair that people who have to wait hours to get into a dungeon have a higher rate of drop for their weapon. Bragging that you are able to do content 205 times in 2 weeks just because you have a fast queue (or is an a premade) is not helping your case. Of course I'd had more gladiator swords drop in my runs and still no bow, even though I've done both garuda and titan enough times to get the bows for both of theirs. Random is random.

I like how you think that "tanks get instaqueue so it's only fair that their drop rates might be lower" when you fail to realize that if you get 7 other people via shout/friend list/FC/whatever, everyone gets instant queue. But feel free to keep thinking that duty finder is the only way to get into an instance as a DD class.

@OP, RNG sucks but you just gotta deal with it until SE decides to implement a token system or something similar. You could also look into the crafted ilvl70 swords as an alternative, though they are pretty expensive.

It's not the game's fault they took out an existing primal token system that admittedly rarely dropped those tokens in the first place except for the hardest primal, it's clearly your fault for wasting time doing content and trying to get the weapon you actually wanted instead of spending money and tomestones you could be spending on better gear on crafting or buying a craftable weapon. Lern2play and git gud!

I'm sure it's been mentioned, but there is a craftable iLvl 70 sword that is easily on par with Garuda's Gaze when HQ'd, and much better than it when melded. So there are other options. Hell, with the philosophy tokens you obtained from 205 Ifrit Runs you'd have more than enough to buy the coke in order to the craft the sword.

Why is there so much negativity? He got really unlucky with his Ifrit weapon and that sucks. Yeah, he could have moved on, but you guys don't need to lay into the guy so hard because he posted on these forums.

Why do people insist on believing you need Ifirit's weapon? It's marginally better than the second lieutenant GC one. No exaggeration.

Another thing, weapon matters little to tanks. That marginal difference is even more marginal for tanks.

There's really only reason why you should bother going after Ifrit's weapon. Because it looks cool.

damn that's horrible, similar issue happen to me when tryin to farm garuda's sword, i ran like 50 times and only seen it once

took me near 60 runs to get ifrit sword, lost it 3 times, then brought another pld that already had it with me and finally got it. im having the same issue with garuda though, going to wait until one of my FC members gets it or i will just keep loseing it on roll >.>
