How lucky for you! A group with decently geared people agreed to carry your gimpness through the fight. What's even funnier is that you think this is some kind of accomplishment.
Not all of us get carried and most of us don't want to be.
Gratz.

Or they were screwing around for the hell of it, because I don't know, some people don't take these games as seriously as badasses like you?
But you go girl, just jump to conclusions without any context.

Yes it is, but there's a problem though. When ya get to Titan or sometimes Garuda you're bound to get flamed by the douchebags that probably got lucky and had their rare weapons drop on their first few tries, or had their GC carry their asses through it.
Wouldn't a melded Giantsgall do you well as well? Not on the up and up of weapons these days.
I think it's rather fair that people who have to wait hours to get into a dungeon have a higher rate of drop for their weapon. Bragging that you are able to do content 205 times in 2 weeks just because you have a fast queue (or is an a premade) is not helping your case. Of course I'd had more gladiator swords drop in my runs and still no bow, even though I've done both garuda and titan enough times to get the bows for both of theirs. Random is random.

I like how you think that "tanks get instaqueue so it's only fair that their drop rates might be lower" when you fail to realize that if you get 7 other people via shout/friend list/FC/whatever, everyone gets instant queue. But feel free to keep thinking that duty finder is the only way to get into an instance as a DD class.I think it's rather fair that people who have to wait hours to get into a dungeon have a higher rate of drop for their weapon. @OP, RNG sucks but you just gotta deal with it until SE decides to implement a token system or something similar. You could also look into the crafted ilvl70 swords as an alternative, though they are pretty expensive.
Welcome to why vertical tiered gear progression is a terrible idea (among many other reasons)
They really need to go back to a horizontal based endgame, IMO

You really don't need ifrit sword.
