icons guide?

Is there a good guide online to what all the different icons mean that can appear next to people's names?

I quickly figured out the movie-film icon that means the player is watching a cut-scene, but there are several others I still don't recognize: a blue hexagon with a smaller movie-film symbol in the corner, a reddish icon that might possibly represent a chair, a pair of red daggers conjoined in a V shape, and possibly others that I haven't noticed or can't remember off-hand.

The same goes for icons by mobs' names, although I've at least done a somewhat better job of figuring those out on my own. At least I can recognize the blue double blob of mobs who won't aggro and the triangular icon of ones that will. I can also recognize the icons that indicate mobs in my hunting log or the great big Q of quest mobs, but again, there are a few other icons I've seen but don't know what they mean.

Anyone know of where these (or for that matter, other UI-type features) are explained?

This means they are queueing up for Duty Finder

a reddish icon that might possibly represent a chair

AFK / Away from Keyboard

a pair of red daggers conjoined in a V shape

This player is doing a Guildleve.


Usually any special icons by an enemy name means that they are part of a quest, typically the enemy is strong until you use an item on it to weaken it, and anyone that is on the quest can help kill it.

If you are curious about any icons, you can do a player search for that player and look at their search info. It will show the icon alongside what it means in their profile.

I also know that a red box with a "play" button in the middle means they are on another world (doing an instance, solo or group). Mainly useful to know in FC lists.

A flag with an L blended into it means they are a party leader. I don't think this shows up in the world though, and may just be search / FC lists.
