    Which PS3 do you have? Mine is the old 40GB model (no backward compatibility). I've wanted to upgrade mine for awhile but with PS4 out soon I wasn't sure if it was worth it. If it did that much difference for you, I might consider it, though.

    I have the super slim ps3.

    It has helped me but I do plan on going to the ps4 version when it becomes available next year
