TBH..N/A. You should resell those items if you can.
Heavy Darksteel Armor / Flanchard are useless. They take up 2 slots each (Head/Chest & Legs/Boots), but still only allow 5 materia slots. You would need to be able to meld up to 10 for them to be remotely useful.
Save your Gil on Materia and just re-sell the items.
Only time I'd say you need darksteel is if you managed to pick up allagan boots/legs and needed the accuracy which you don't get from Darklight chest/head.

I no need to grind TOP for body head leg and foot that why I bought it.
By the way HQ70 is powerfull same as Darklight ? and materia is not expensive on tonberry.

My suggestion is to keep the top piece (Heavy Darksteel Armor) because it's very comparable to DL body (determination instead of crit, but otherwise exactly the same) but get rid of the legs/Flanchard and replace with DL. DL legs have 43 accuracy on them which you are going to need (which by the way, at least 470 accuracy is a must for Binding Coil, preferably 480+). Earrings and Body are the only 2 DL pieces that don't have accuracy, so get DL everywhere else, and settle for hoplite or myth gear in the rest for a starting point. That will get you the stats you need, and the accuracy to do Coil.
As for melding... if you really want to use those Darksteel pieces, then you're going to have to meld *all accuracy* into every materia slot, especially the legs: That's "Heaven's Eye IV" materia. That will net you 4*9 = 36 accuracy in each piece. Not as much as DL legs (43), but still extremely important to make sure you have enough of. Otherwise, slot VIT if you have the room.

Very clear for me. Thank for information . I will keep the top piece and replace a flanchard into DL. ^^
Last thing how about melding top piece ? which materia I should meld?
If I'm doing math right (lol math) with the aforementioned pieces, you'll have, as a base, around 487 accuracy with a regular Relic weapon (similar to what I'm wearing, minus 18 accuracy for the hoplite head and +1 relic I have). That being said, you have some wiggle room as far as what you'd like to meld. Maybe 1 or 2 accuracy materias (Heaven's Eye IV) to put you in a safe spot for that, and the rest can be STR if you want a bit more threat or are really close to the next parry/block tier (see table here) or just VIT for more health. I'm not really sure any other stat is of use to PLD's.
In response to your original question:
I would go with accuracy and dex. Dex helps with parry and blocking. The heavy dark steel is already capped with str and vit, so you won't be able to meld str or vit materia into them. Poll for some other responses but I'm thinking dex, that's what I put into mine. Read around through these threads and you'll see that vitality is the be all stat for melee taunt characters with a smidgen of str which the heavy dark steel has plenty of. To me, it seems like, the materia slots are just a small boon to these already great pieces with out much need for them. Your upgrades after these won't have the extra materia choices and/or bonus to those "extra" stats that you get from materia.
These forums are tough to navigate through, I apologize for that on behalf of the community.
