You're the sort of person I want to play with o:The sad thing about this is that Titan is a skill check. You can grind and have gear which helps but in the end it's all about skill. I can't even say how many bad people in relic and DL are floating around.
I actually was shouting on Hyperion for people with No experience and moderate gear to make attempts. Needless to say, we successfully got him to about 10% several times out of the maybe 7-8 runs we did. Didn't really do it for very long.
So the point is, being elitist is a waste and I don't associate with those people. If you are on Hyperion, and want to run Titan, look me up ~
Well that reality has to hit some time. But...
This is unfortunately what a lot of people are hit with. To be honest, the individual player (i.e. you) needs to take it upon themselves to initiate things. Be the caretaker. Help your FC members progress where they need to. You don't need to jump on every single opportunity to help people, not at all. But once in a while would do wonders to not only establish yourself in your FC, but also helps establish them in it too. You form bonds and, as cliche as it is to say it, it's important... moreso now than the old days.

IMO, you should have to have the best gear from an expansion before you're allowed to download that same expansion.
It's time to weed out the scrubs.
I love how people come here and complain about others supposedly forcing their play style on them, yet the petition is to actually force the play style the OP prefers. I see shouts looking for people with required experience or gear and at the same time I see shouts with no requirements. I see free companies looking for people who are geared and experienced and free companies just looking for anyone, and anything in between. The bottom line is I don't tell you how to play and don't tell me how to play, BUT if you want to run Titan HM with people that have been through it and one shot it then you better be willing to either pony up some gil or be geared and play at their level, or if you want a 25 min CM run to farm ToPs then you better have the gear that will keep up with a group like that. It is insulting to complain that the other kids don't want to play with you because you can't keep up or will have to be carried basically begging to force your own will on others instead of finding people to play with that match your play style.
Many of the players that are spamming those requirements had to farm themselves queuing in the DF and have put time in carrying people and are in a position where they don't have to anymore so they don't. The people making restrictions to their free company or parties have already put the time in to play at a certain level so if you don't or can't or whatever then that is fine there are plenty of other people out there, but don't get angry because you can't roll with those that have taken the time to complete stuff and in the time that they want to do it in. Find people that play at your level and enjoy your time in game instead of worrying about what other people are doing, especially when it doesn't interfere with what you are doing. Live and let live, if you don't like the requirements they are asking for then don't play with them just like they added requirements because they didn't want to carry someone with pink gear through Titan HM. However if you have to get it done and don't want to spend the time getting the gear for it then I'm sure there is a free company on your server that will carry you through it face down in the dirt... for a price.

"If you kill all the wolves you're gonna have a crap load of bunnies, and by bunnies I mean stupid people."

I love the (Relic only for CM) clueless shouts. Seriously it one of the easiest dungeons and easy byapass runs there are. (if not laggy that is).
It worries me when people shout with those expectations in a dungeon with such low requirements. IF thye feel they need gear like that over requirements to win, I have doubts in skill.

Player
The goal isn't to just win, it's to win efficiently. If you get people with good enough gear then you can single tank and single heal it and bring more DD meaning bosses and trash die faster. This seems to go over the heads of a lot of people that are confused by people shouting for high gear requirements. Of course you can finish these dungeons and fights with lesser geared people but that isn't the point of these groups. These groups are going for 35 minute CMs, 25 minute Praetoriums or 5 minute Garudas. Once you have good enough gear you can start playing with different group compositions which allow you to finish fights faster and the content faster which is generally desired by someone that has run these fights enough to have their relics and full DL.I love the (Relic only for CM) clueless shouts. It's really kind of sad and ironic that a lot of people seem to think these groups are being put together because they are a bunch of morons that don't understand the game. The reality is that these groups are being formed because people with lots of collected Tome gear are much more likely to be in the same mindset as yourself about the grind; that is it is an unfortunate but currently necessary function of the game but is bearable if they can be completed via the most efficient means available.
