    Rested XP Mechanics

Dunno if it's intended or they overlooked it but the rested XP mechanics is a bit bad. It's not a gamebreaking topic but would like others' opinions on it. A player of a higher level can utilize rested XP better than low level ones.

The problem is when you go to one of your another class, the rested bar doesn't translate to numbers but into bars.

    e.g.
Paladin Level 45, full rested 400,000 xp bar. Decides to level an Arcanist, Level 1 bar is 300 xp, levels to level 2-4, decides to go back to Paladin to level, 400,000 xp bar gone. It's such a waste o.o

The paladin for example could have utilized that rested so much better and it just disappeared in 5mins on a low level class.

    Suggestions:
    1. Translate rested XP into numbers when switching to classes.
    2. Have class-specific rested bars.(can only be gained if you log out on that class)
    3. Other suggestions open o.o

Yeah, it sucks... i guess they want you to use it wisely. i feel the same seeing a lvl 50 job with the full rested exp bar then i switch to lvl 20 gold smithing and it will let me get 1 lvl and a half of exp boost.

    I agree/disagree.

The way the system works for rested XP to be useful at higher levels and not completely overpowered at lower levels it needs to work off of a percentage as opposed to a flat bonus. But you are right, that it is a lot more effecient to use your rested XP on a higher level character rather than a lower level one. And to make matters worse, if you're trying to speed level one class, it makes you have have to work on that specific class when you log in each time before doing anything else in order to take advantage of your rested XP.

My suggestion would be to just let us "pause" or "enable" our rested XP, so that we can apply it to the class we would like it to, but keep the structure of the system of how it accumulates entirely the same.

Would be happy if they gave it a better look and made some adjustments however at the same time, I'd be ok with them simply removing it. It's a silly mechanic brought into existence by games that wanted to do something new and different in the genre. It's not new and different anymore - and it never made sense to begin with.
How can offline experience gain be a selling point? Are we trying target a minority of business men who travel six days a week and can only play on Sundays? And who cares if their REAL LIFE schedule hinders their game time...as the kids say, 'oh noes!'

    Just can the system, solved.

You must be one of those kids to make such comments.
