    Unregistered for no reason?

    I tried to log in this morning to work on some thing and I keep getting a pop up saying that my account isn't registered. How could this be? It was registered last night when I went to bed. Yet, today it is now? I didn't un-register.

    I still have 5 days free trial left but Mogstation is telling me that the service account has been suspended. Yet, here I am posting on the forums as if there are no problems.

    I was going to pay up on subscription today. Go figure.

    Anyone have any clue as to what might be happening? I've received no emails regarding problems with my account and due to the suspension on mogstation I can't even pay for subscription.

    Lots of legit players seem to have been suspended recently.

    Especially if your a crafter that has made a decent amount of gil selling crafted items on the market.

    You can try support but this is what I have found:

    Trying to get a GM to look through your account history is impossible:

    Email Support: Say's I need to phone or use live chat support
    Phone Support: Automated message saying they are not receiving calls due to volume.
    Live Chat Support: Say they don't have the power to look into account history, no GM's etc, says only staff in Japan are able to "investigate".


    They wont give a time scale at all and for me it's already been more than 4 days.

    That's the thing though. I'm not a high level crafter. Nor do I have a lot of money. My market transactions have been limited to buying a few things to gear up and start my relic quest. I've received no reasoning behind any suspension.

    You probably still somehow triggered some form of auto-ban system.

    Some had been speculating that if a gil buyer buys an item from you on the market, you may be suspended, despite it being beyond your control who buys items from the market. Or maybe you bought an item from the market, off an RMT'er.

    That's just ridiculous. If they know enough to know that the person that I bought an item from is and RMT then the RMT account should not be there. I never trade with anyone in game except for friends that I know personally and there's never been any form of money transaction aside from the market place besides the melding that I paid for on the weapon for relic quest.

    Besides all of that I have not received the messages that those people did. All it's telling me when I attempt to log in is that my account is not registered.

    More than likely your account was compromised/hacked. Quite a few people, myself included, have reported to have made an attempt to log on only to find that our accounts were unregistered. On Mogstation, I had a mysterious third character I never created under the character list (most likley created by the hacker to spam RTM advertisements). A day after I made this discovery, I received an email from SE stating my account had been terminated due to Real Money Trading. As of Monday morning, Customer Service had escalated my account to investigations.

    Look at your character list in Mogstation. Perhaps there is a mysterious character there or they used one of your actual characters to carry out their illicit activities. If you're not highly involved in the market/trading (I had only used the market twice to purchase soot black dye), you more than likely didn't set off any red flags. Based on my own personal experience, this leads me to believe your account was hacked. High money makers are not the only people who are falling victim to gold selling. Who's account do you think spammers are using? Certainly not their own.

    You have been hacked. You need to contact CS and get it straightened out. It will take a minimum of 2 weeks to get your account back, with all of the hacked accounts lately I would bet it will be much longer.

    I tried to log in last saturday and it told me my account was not registered. I went to my FC forums and there was a post telling me my account had been hacked and I was spamming RMT stuff in Gridinia. Being it was the weekend I had to wait until Monday to call CS and they are now investigating it. They will not give an ETA on getting your account back.

    Does this mean they've concluded their so called investigation and I'm permanently banned? I know for damn sure it wasn't me. This all happened while I was asleep. There were no extra characters that I noticed on Mogstation which mean that they did this in my newly acquired DL chest. Have they no soul?!
