I would wait for 2.1, if that's how you feel about it. Personally, I don't mind the grind 'cause I work on gathering/crafting classes in between queues, but I'm by no means saying that that should be enough for everyone. I haven't heard a confirmation date for patch 2.1 but I've been hearing guesstimates of somewhere mid-November or December, or 'every 3 months'.

They've mentioned 'hard mode' versions of earlier dungeons with alternate bosses and such, and it's possible some of these will drop tombs, or tomes, or whatever.

Farming the same dungeons for specific gear has been an MMO staple for many, many years. I'm sorry that MMO's, therefore, may not be your cup of tea.

I'm not sure how asking for a larger variety of dungeons that offer the same reward as Castrum gave you the impression of wanting the endgame gear handed over on a platter. Whether there's a variety or not it's still a grind, but the OP clearly stated that they didn't care for Castrum, and that they preferred AK, but AK offers less than half CM's reward. Again I personally don't mind the grind, but I agree that I certainly wouldn't mind having a wider variety of dungeons with the same output of reward. It's not about getting the reward faster than what's offered now, it's about having more variety in how to get the reward.
