Lvl 50 cross skill help.

So currently I am a lvl 50 weaver, alchemist, and culinarian. I'm looking to pick up one more 50 and would like some advice on which profession to take for the cross skills. Atm i'm thinking goldsmith for the control boost skill. Any ideas or suggestions would be helpful.

Nope, it consumes the Inner Quiet buff the same as Rumination does.

Byregot's Blessing is a touch, so it stacks with Great Strides and with conditions. If you have used like 4~5 Touches before using it and get a good/excellent. I's far more reliable then using rumination.

And its just straight up better than Innovation? I certainly understand stacking potential as thats basically my setup. I don't use alot of little touches so i'm not sure how much of a benefit i would get from a skill that is based off the number of touches not quality of touches.

it also stacks with innovation(till what i've heard of) so After some touches>Innovation>+1 touch>Great Strides>Byregot should suffice for that 100% =). Currently leveling GSM so i can confirm that. Currently CUL/CRP/ARM 50.

If youre doing minimal touches, then innovation may be the better option of the two. At 340 control the gain on Adv Touch with innovation is almost 100 quality. Where byregots really shines is after building 6-7 IQ stacks, and amplifying it with ing2, gs, and inno. After 6 stacks this can get you over 1700 quality on a single touch during normal condition, or over 1400 even without innovation, which is why I prefer byregots. It essentially trivializes getting HQ, even on40 dura star items.
