Coerthas - things to do

Went out into Coerthas yesterday for the first time at level 25 after hitting surplus. Thought I'd go for some adventure.

It struck me that the starter areas and Coerthas remind me a hell of a lot of ffxi when it first started, but on a different scale.

I hope the devs have big plans for the game, it has so much potential. Just running around north of Ishgard I found all sorts of random buildings, forts, evil looking mobs and camps with soldiers spouting all manner of ill on impending doom.

I'd be interested in hearing from the devs about when this lot will be populated by meaningful storyline etc. It's a gorgeous area, fantastic music, good mob placement - it's just got very little there to do and it isn't clear what level the camps are or where to get quests from?

Looking back to old ffxi when it was young (i played in Japan back in 03') it was very much the same - limited exploration opportunities and limited things to do. Simple but great - if we get the battle system sorted it will be excellent going forward.

They made 11 such a great (and different) MMo that I have high hopes for this one, i see similarities from their first years. Just very impatient!

So Devs, when will you be adding content to Coerthas? Is it on a road map yet?

It was mentioned that Ishgard was going to open some time after battle changes, not a very helpful date since that could be anytime, however it shows its on the roadmap

I would like to see them at least add 2 R50 behests to camps in coerthas to encourage people to travel there.

But I'm in the same boat as OP, I see the future greatness of this game, I'm just impatient!!
