Some advice needed for Binding Coil of Bahamut turn 4.

My FC group reach turn 4 yersterday and it destory us by around phrase 4-5. From what I see:

Phrase 1 : Bug, just gather and aoe them out

Phrase 2: DD on knight and mage on soldier.

Phrase 3: Let Dreadnaught eat the bugs and kill it

Phrase 4: Here is the issue, while we are still killing dreadnaught, the rook show up. I read some guide that off-tank is suppose to take 1 rook and bard is suppose to take the other. Does the rest of DD suppose to be finish killing dreadnaught or kill rook first then dreadnaught?

The dreadnaught needs to die within 5 seconds of the rooks spawning. Ideally, you kill it before they even spawn. If you can't do that, you'll probably wipe when you have 2 Dreadnaughts up due to low DPS.

If you can't kill the Dreadnaught before the next wave spawns or at least within 3 secs no point in worrying about further waves. Instead work on wave 3.

You can blow short cooldowns (120s or less) on the first set of bugs in order to kill them quickly and they will still be up in time for the first dreadnaught.

Depending on your comp, you'll also probably want a bard to use foe req + battle voice during that first dreadnaught (open to opinions here though, it may be wiser eventually to save it for when two dreadnaughts are up at once, as that tends to be the more sketchy part of the fight).

Anyway, make sure you have every cooldown possible up to burn that first dreadnaught as quickly as possible.

Well, the team we went in yesterday are: 2 pld, 1 whm, 1 sch, 1 blm, 1 smn, 1 monk, and me as bard and all of us have relic or relic+1. Any suggestion? Also, dd tend to burn down knight earlier than the mages side, is it possible for us to helkp them at the end with soldier?

Using food and mega potions? All of your dps have all the damage boosting additional job abilities unlocked?

Turn 4 is a dps check above everything else. If you aren't killing that Dreadnaught before wave 4 spawns or within the first 2/3 seconds afterwards, you're more than likely wiping. And that's actually the easier of the Dreadnaught phases as well. My suggestion for now is to work on consistently getting that Dreadnaught dropped before the next wave spawns. Your entire party should be using food (HQ if possible) for this turn. It really does make a huge difference. It's also good to think about using Mega Potions during wave 6/7 to burn the other Dreadnaughts faster, but again, work on getting consistency for your early waves first.

When stoneskin breaks on a soldier (signified by the electricity/stun), physical DPS can help kill it.

Seems like a case of DPS not being prioritized correctly for wave 2.

Perhaps you could run something like this:

    MNK focus MT's Knight
BRD focus MT's Knight, tab dotting OT's Knight
    BLM focus OT's Soldier
    SMN focus OT's Soldier

    MT's Knight dies
MNK, BRD switches to OT's Knight

    OT's Soldier dies
BRD, SMN, BLM switches to MT's Soldier

    MT Soldier Dies
BRD switches back to OT's Knight if its still alive.

CDs for Dreadnaught, especially with that comp, should be enough to kill it in time before the next wave spawns.
