3677M Gil would be easier to read, less bitchin. :P

While I didn't know that, my reply still holds true because of the context of the quoted post I was responding to. So, yeah, how about a little less need to preen your intellectual feathers there buddy.The definition of a billion changes from country to country, eg:
1,000,000,000,000 = 10^12 = 1 billion in the UK and most EU countries, likely used elsewhere in the world in former colonies.
1,000,000,000 = 10^9 = 1 billion in the USA and some other countries where American culture is the norm/popular.
Please do not insult others when you yourself prove to be the one lacking in knowledge of a subject; you can check here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Long_and_short_scales for more info, kthx.
Don't need to know Japanese. I blame the SHMUP/Danmaku genre scoring systems for my knowledge in this. :PThank god I know Japanese:

"・凍結ギル合計:約3677億ギル"
1億 = 100 million
10億 = 1 billion
.
.
.
3677億 = 367.7 billion
"Total frozen gil: approx. 367.7 billion gil"
Can we move on now?
This would be true except for that it seems that a large number of goldsellers appear to be accounts that have been hacked, which means that they are not really paying for the accounts themselves.1. Goldsellers buy the game
2. Developer/publisher profits
3. Goldsellers make their money and pay off their game purchase in spades
4. Goldsellers get banned
5. Goldsellers buy another copy of game
6. Developer/publisher profits
7. Goldsellers make their money and again pay off their game purchase
8. Goldsellers get banned
9. Goldsellers buy another copy of game
10. Developer/publisher profits
And on and on it goes. Besides the 'bannings,' do you see another pattern? The one where the devs/pubs continue to make money?
Curious how these developers continue to pump out RPGs with items or commodities in them that ultimately result in RMT abuse.
Hmm..........
Yeah. There's no purchasing of games going on here from RMT. If there is it's extremely likely to be credit card fraud. All the grunt work is done on compromised accounts.
This completely. I am seeing less farming and shouting from people named Dqwnwnqw Ejnwfon and more from characters whose names seem thought out. RMTs goal is to spend as little as possible and profit as much as possible. Hacking lets them do this to not only steal from the account owner but also to provide a new mule.

Not too sharp yourself either what is 367,700 (X) 10^6???? 367,700,000,000.Not too sharp at maths eh? lol
- Total Frozen Gil: Approximately 367,700 million Gil
Not even close to 1 billion.....
On topic - That's a huge sum of money.... May I suggest its ploughed into a casino in Costa Del Sol or similar location? I'd love to have a gamble now and again..
What is the Japanese stance on gambling by the way??
It sucks if you got temp banned when you were playing legitimately. The problem is if you did a large number of trades with someone who bought Gil you were probably figured to be part of the web. After a little investigation I'm sure the honest players will be unbanned. The harder and wider SE strike this time, the fewer times they'll need to do it in future, hopefully.
As one of the high volume crafters, i used to do close to 50 trades a day, week before i been doing 10-20 trades a day and mostly auction house stuff. A lot of us first on server crafters were caught in this automated suspension thingy while playing legitimately. It isn't like gil that is tainted can be checked by us. Even if we asked the person if you have bought gil or their money is dirty, they will say no. So how the hell can i know? No idiot will tell us the bought gil because i did report their ass and it they can check the records of the person talking in game that he admits to a infraction of the TOS.
So the only safe way is to tell all customers to screw off and sell stuff at either a Loss or no profit on market place? then SE won't come after you?
This is stupid. We all losing 7 days of sub time. They said 72 hours according to SE's logic, which means 7 actual days in laymen terms. Everyone is guility, they aren't bothering to actually investigate and apologize to the innocents and all use innocents caught in this have gotten our first strike. Which means if we ever get swept up in another automated suspension our punishment will be harder and SE CS won't do **** for you because you are all guilty because SE doesn't make mistakes.
Make no sense. Why would the server first crafters have to buy gil? We already made bank being the server first when the prices much higher as there was high demand and low supply. I don't even have a lv 50 DoM or DoW class yet since i got so into crafting.

This, it's the same reason why my main class (BLM) is still lvl 39.
Market sales were crazy fast if you made the right items and listed them for the right price, we have no way of telling if legit gil was being used to buy these items.
