I have 1 lvl 50 job and my second job is getting close to 47, and I barely ever used the auction house system for items (got them from quests) and the amount of gil I gain from quests is sufficient for me to function at this point (teleporting, choco porting etc).

So my question is, for those people who worry that the legacy players would impact the economy, are they the ones who themselves possess a great amount of gil and high ranks in crafting? Because that's the only way I see how one can fear the possible "impact" of legacy players transfering into their servers...
