I need server transfer now!

Fail or not but you must admit complaining well all the post of people ranting was just ridiculous it won't make it done faster for the most part I don't know it probably just annoys the heck of people because they know I would assume but they're late with the world transfers I mean I'm pretty I'd like to think that they are trying to do the best they can with getting stuff out to the players since as you said a lot of paying now. But sadly it won't stop because now 1.0 legacy players for players on the legacy servers will complain until it happens.

just why shoud we stop complaining, their reason for punishing all Legacy world players was rediculous. most 1.0 players dont even some close to having the classes/jobs maxed or the gil that was the reason. maybe 10% of the players if that fell into that catagory so we all got punished for it. not to mention all the new players who made chars on Legacy worlds because that was all that was open to them, is it fair they are punished too? tell me something. would you stop complaining if one of your neighbors commited a crime and everyone in your city was punished for it? no I dont think you would


being told they were implimenting world transfers so we can be with our friends aparently applies only to new worlds because who in their right mind is going to transfer to another Legacy world unless it is to get off a lag infested one.

Question the first 5 days are suppose to be free transfer and characters from legacy server are not allowed to transfer for like six months, Do characters from legacy servers get a free transfer when they open in a few months?

I see plenty of talk about the assumed effect Legacy players would have on the economy if they were allowed to transfer freely but has anyone stopped to consider that the effect of 2 mass transfers will be far more disruptive?

As it stands now come the 15th the economy on every server is going to be disrupted with so many people moving between servers. Over time things will settle down and gain some sense of normality however, because of the legacy restrictions, the whole thing is just going to happen a second time, come 6 months or whenever they decide to allow it, essentially undoing any previous stability. Is this not worse than having a single supposedly greater disturbance and allowing the economies to stabilize sooner so that they can get going?

We've all stated multiple times how upset we are about Legacy server transfers. Other ppl who don't get our frustration simply aren't in our shoes.

I have my reasons and voiced them loudly in another forum.
Others have shouted until they were blue in the face about how sick we all are, and we are being completely ignored, while trivial things are being followed by the dev. team. Threads such as the ambient noise thread.

Can they not respond w/ anything to our major issue? Even a simple, "sry guys, we kno you're frustrated and we'll keep working on this" would be better than being ignored!

Come up with options for those desperate enough! Gil caps, all crafts 25+ dropped to 25, forfeit items from lvl 30+ dungeons.. SOMETHING...

Most friends I convinced to buy/play the game cannot understand why I would be paying to let a company push me around. I tell them I <3 FFxi/xiv and to have faith, while all the time I am steadily losing mine.

Pretty sure they will announce Legacy transfer either the same time as they announce the rest, or they will address it during the live letter

A lot of top guilds are there so all lets flood there.

"Sorry, be patient and wait" is not a good enough response, and cannot be accepted as 'communication'. As previously discussed, SE are running a business, and they are failing to deliver the product they sold to us. It is an MMO; a social construct by nature, and a lot of us are unable to play with our friends. A simple explanation would ease the frustration of a LOT of people here.

Would be nice to know how this will happen for the legacy players, I have friends that might move to my server but they kinda want to wait to see what happens, would be ezer for me (1 person) to move to them instead of them (4 friends) move to my server and run the chance that only 2 might be able to move to my server instead of all 4 and be split up even more

The problem with legacy servers, and why a lot want a transfer is they are so over crowded. Playing at a 4k latency is not fun. So what would be the point of transfering from one crowded server to another crowded server. At peak hours there are queues and weekends there are heavy load problems, on Hyperion. Stop the world I want to get off!
