I need server transfer now!

Is there going to be a wait time between server transfers or will you be allow to move your data fairly easily each time you pay the transfer fee?

It seems like the people on Legacy servers have the biggest problems playing with friends because a lot of those servers were full right when the game came out and new players had trouble creating characters on them.

The legacy/v1 players started paying their first month of subscriptions mid-September. Worlds are still full. (Short queues during busy times is normal.) We know others are coming, and we know nobody is leaving. I hope SE takes this into consideration.

Legacy cannot transfer for like a year to the new servers...

I think it was estimated as "months", and many understood it to be around 6 months. (Long time, but not forever.)

They seem to be patterning this after FFXI's world transfer service. That one has a 90-day cooldown between transfers.

Does this apply to people that made new characters on a Legacy server at the start of 2.0, even if they never played 1.0?

Sorry. I may be confused. However, my question is if I created a totally new character at the launch of the game, and this character was made on a Legacy server, will I be able to move him to a non-legacy server? I never played 1.0 and I only made the character there because it was the only server actually open to make it on at the time. I just want to know if I am wasting my time continuing to work on him, and if I should just start leveling on the server I want to be on. Thank you to anyone who can answer this.

from what I under stand if you are on a legacy server you can only transfer another legacy server, 1.0 or a 2.0 character youre in the same boat

Can we PLEASE let legacy players transfer off legacy servers? Square, all you're doing is making legacy servers way more crowded. No, it WASN'T widely announced that I wouldn't be able to transfer off a legacy server, otherwise we would not have rolled here. Would a dev please respond to this? It's extremely unfair to us who never played 1.0. You've got a gil transfer cap anyway, and RMT bots have destroyed the economies of most worlds already. What exactly is the harm of legacy players transferring off legacy servers?

BTW - I really want the transfer since my significant other and I are on separate servers and we play in the house. Terrible.

Fail. Patience is ok when a game is free, but a lot of people are paying for it now. As for 1.0 players, if we want to play the game we have bought, we will have to continue paying for months to come before this transfer issue is resolved for us. I would sit in line like a good patient little boy if SE told us that 1.0 transfers were a few weeks away, but thats not the case.

Fail or not but you must admit complaining well all the post of people ranting was just ridiculous it won't make it done faster for the most part I don't know it probably just annoys the heck of people because they know I would assume but they're late with the world transfers I mean I'm pretty I'd like to think that they are trying to do the best they can with getting stuff out to the players since as you said a lot of paying now. But sadly it won't stop because now 1.0 legacy players for players on the legacy servers will complain until it happens.
