I need server transfer now!

if u were new in 2.0 u had the OPTION to go LEGACY or NOT , why ppl choosed a legacy if they wanted to start on a new server or move to a new server later on ????

A 1.0 player with 2.0 friends joining the game why they didnt join your server ? locked? all the servers were locked to be fair , mine (new) opened for some hours late at night , took my gf and friends 2-3 days of trying to get a character on moogle.

It was a character creation issue. Not to mention that I am an EU player with EU and NA friends, but my character was put on a JAP server. Also, I only jumped back on the bandwagon at early access. Some of my friends had already made and leveled characters in Beta4, joined linkshells and created a community.

This isn't me being angry or flaming for the sake of causing arguments, but this is a Multiplayer game. If I can't play my toon with my frinds, then it's not a social experience. I have been waiting patiently untill now, holding out hope, but wont pay a subscription fee to waste my time. The free-to-play period was generously extended untill issues surrounding the launch and players being able to play on desired servers were resolved. For me, they will not be resolved untill I can move to a non-legacy server.

EDIT: Ok I have read the above post and accept that my character wasn't "dumped" on a JAP server. Still doesnt change the fact that I have come back to the game as an EU player, to find my character on a JAP Legacy server, with no facility whatsoever to move to where my friends are. It was in part character creation and server population issues that prevented them from coming to me in the first place. Those launch problems affected 1.0 players too. As I have previously said, I can't now ask a whole bunch of NA/EU players to transfer to a JAP Legacy server just for lil' old me.
