I need server transfer now!

This sucks! I accidentally got put onto an EU Legacy server when I was able to transfer worlds from 1.0 to 2.0. I swear to god it never said it was EU, and now I'm suckered for their own fault. The fact that I can't play with my friends, let alone the horrible lag, is enough to make me "actually" post. I don't care if NONE of my gil gets transferred, I just want to play. I'll be DOUBLY pissed if, when they do allow us to transfer, I still have to PAY for it.

Comments like these truly make me laugh. You seriously expect people (and SE) to believe that it was "Square Enix's fault" that you got put into a EU server? Seriously? Wow. I guess out of the hundreds of thousands of people playing for some reason your game did not display the letters EU near the server. Give me a break. Don't blame SE for your stupidity. Face it, you're screwed and it's of your own accord. Makes me laugh how people complain to SE when they screwed themselves. No one cares that you're "doubly pissed", you should be pissed at yourself and no one else...

Keep whining and complaining though, totally gonna get SE to give you your transfer. Sike.

I came back to the game at launch for early access, and by that point, the damage had already been done. SE had stuck my 1.0 character on a random JAP Aegis server, even though I am clearly an EU player, signing on from an EU region, and there wasn't a damn thing I could do about it.

That wasn't my stupidity. It's SE's. Plain and simple. I didn't screw myself. I re-installed FFXIV, and FOUND my character on Aegis. Already done.
Before you say we had the opportunity to World Transfer during the early beta stages', I was neither around nor aware that this was happening at the time.

People like myself and HaloAvon are simply stuck. We are where we are by no CHOICE of our own, and we were looking forward to being able to move to play with our friends. Now we are being told we can't, and no actual reason has been given either. Economically, there wouldn't be any drastic fluctuation, as they are limiting the amount of gil people can transfer with their characters. No 1.0 character has an advantage over a 2.0, as many 2.0 characters are now higher levels than those of us who played 1.0.

It's not unreasonable to register our disappointment at this decision, and ask for an explanation! Don't flame us because you got what you want, and we haven't.
