One of the options not listed, in regards to why we picked a server is that we were filtered to certain servers during the cluster F that was the launch. People just want to get off of the Legacy servers that we were filtered into during beta and initial release.

Don't care what kind of limitations are put in place. Strip them naked, limit gil and items. Don't care. Items and gil can be regained, progress lost can not be regained. When I chose a server after release, it wasn't because I was all moist about the Famfrit server. I chose it because at the time, it was the only option as everything else was locked. I have people stuck on Hyperion who just want to get off of that server.
