Why do people use their economic past to justify their present concerns? I paid for FFXI for 11 years also. I don't feel like they should cater to me just because I paid them like everyone else in the game.

Regardless, clearly legacy > new world transfers would screw up the economy, and clearly people would take advantage of it. End of story. It may suck for you, but it's better for everyone else.

Absolute rubbish. A very small percentage of 1.0 characters are rich to the point where they may affect an economy. Most of us played for a few months in 1.0, quit the game, and have come back at 2.0 launch. We don’t have mega-riches, and we don’t have all lvl50 jobs. Gill sellers on new worlds have altered the economy far more than a 1.0 character ever could.
This reason given for the restriction of movement is ridiculous, and is a slap in the face to SE’s longest standing supporters of this game.

There's tons of Legacy players claiming they do not have tons of gil nor levels; I am one of them, lvl 42 and broke.

As I've said before, give us options!
Gil caps & crafting lvl caps for starters.
THERE your problem is no longer a problem Miss Billzey.
Take away our dungeon items past 30+... For god's sake do Something besides tell us your SOL.

Also as stated earlier SE refuses to acknowledge this MAJOR issue. Not even an apology. They answered here & read over a TON of ppl who are pissed. They just ignored it. Poor move SE. My husband and I are not even interested in playing now, and it makes me truly sad because we love the game so much.

Sad to see, how they dictate our terms and we are meant to be the clients here and not even given any choice.
I subbed for the month but once my time is over if nothing is resolved regarding this most crucial matter which is also affecting many players on here, i will certainly not renew my subscription if this is how this company is going to treat their loyal fans.

So, your idea is to take away stuff that I have acquired AFTER the release of ARR? I did play in 1.0, got pld to 41, but stopped. I only recently even leveled it again. The Jobs I have at 50 now were a result of efforts after the relaunch.

This is my biggest fear, too. We have 4 NA Legacy servers, and 2 of them are on the "too crowded, don't transfer here" list. So if tons of people from Excalibur and Hyperion transfer to Sargatanas and Balmung, all it does is put them right back in the same situation on a different server.

Hey we are on the same server! I have friends on the other server who formed a free company of 30 other friends in RL. I am gonna try to convince them all come to Excalibur ... wish me luck!

sadly Excalibur is on the Crowded Worlds list, was thinking of me on Excalibur and my friends on Faerie join on Sargatanas but then run the chance that we all might not get on there
