[First post on the forums, apologies if this is the wrong area / been mentioned before, I had a quick check in this category but couldn't find any obvious references]

Since release me and a friend have duo'd the game, playing the same physical level and same rank, our main jobs are Lancer and Pugilist, and we noticed how I was always holding hate.

At first we assumed I was just doing more damage, or that possibly all the de/buffs I put on create more hate. Until recently when we started Archer together. Both at Rank 11 and Level 27, same race (though she is Keeper of the moon) I was still consistently holding hate.

She suggested mobs liked me less because of being party leader, which I always ended up being, so I swapped places with her. Immediately mobs started paying more attention to her.

My initial assumption is that the mobs use a table, with party leader stored at the top, and then we're producing similar enough enmity that when it looks through the table it has to choose one or the other, and just chooses the person with a lower index.

I don't know if anyone is willing, but confirmation would be appreciated as what we're experiencing consistently is that even if I start the fight, do two attacks, one being a TP move, once she's hit it twice with normal attacks, I lose hate and can't get it back (unless she stops attacking / I use provoke etc.)

If this turns out true, it may be a pretty useful mechanic for tanks
