4 pages, someone must have said, "So you beat turn 5 right?" I love how people act like you need to beat turn 5 to find the endgame boring.

I do agree with the whole rushing to end game thing its different if your part of a group and do raids and stuff but if u have to wait for others to catch up it can be boring and i dont enjoy crafting as much as other people do, so my answer has been to just level alts, i have missed the lack of pvp, when ever i was bored in other mmorpgs, but not just bored, you know that 15mins you have before dinner or before work or something, i'd always do a quick battle ground, i miss that, and when they bring pvp in its just gona be 4vs4, i want 10vs10 or higher.
Right, because spamming CM or going in and out of a circle (ifrit) is end-game.
I think its funny when people call us "White Knights" just because we are having fun lol
Ok I'm sorry let me just hate this game cause you do OP
Just because people don't agree with what you think is wrong with this game doesn't make anyone a "White Knight", just means they can actually have fun with the game where as you have already done what you think is fun, so why don't you go take a break and wait for 2.1 or quit.
Why do you need people to hate it with you?
Well forgive me. I didn't know you were the voice of the majority of MMO gamers....Quite the contrary it was only PvP that kept TORtanic afloat longer, not to mention that you're actually interacting aka socializing with other players during PvP instead of scavenging for materials when crafting, crafting is a solo endeavor and on top of that it's not very fun, a majority of players would rather test their mettle against others rather than weave, craft and all those boring stuff.
I couldn't care less about PvP. The only "socializing" that goes on in PvP is along the lines of, "WTF noob ass loser, you couldn't kill that guy?" "Please kill yourself." "STFU noob, I'm in the top 10 on my main" "You guys suck so hard, AFK."
Leveling a craft wasn't "fun" but it was ungodly simple. I got Goldsmith from 1-50 in 2 days by farming leves.
Tera? Where you sat mindlessly spamming one button, trying to +9/+12 Masterwork your gear for days or weeks on end until your eyes bled? You must be joking.
It was not slow and tedious, in fact it was challenging and meaningful, and there was a sense of fulfillment in getting to level 99 because you're awarded with an Aura, not to mention that even the normal mobs like Deviruchi would drop something as valuable as Demon Wings, cards drop from monsters used to insert and upgrade equipments, fashion headgears, etc. there is the thrill and excitement of grinding, compare to ARR, what do monsters drop? nothing of value, nothing exciting, just worthless crafting materials of no value
You said it yourself -- that's not comparable to TOR at all.
Sorry, did you play TOR at release? I don't think you realize what "no endgame" means.
//EDIT: Also, RFO had no endgame, just a 30000-hour grind and some PvP. RO had no endgame at all, period. You either didn't play these games or came to them 7 years after launch and said "Zomg, look there's xyz!"
You get 50% combat XP bonus, and grinding your second class goes faster than questing up your first. I see that you have only four classes leveled, with your main at 50, your secondary requirement for job at 19, and two others at 7 and 8 (takes 30 minutes to do each). Tell me again, what's it like leveling your second classes to max?
Inconsequential? Unfortunately so at this time, aside from the relic quest. Boring? I'm sorry, you're going to have to show me a better crafting system in a recent MMO. You wouldn't know, of course, because you haven't unlocked a single crafting class to even look at what crafting is like. Honestly, I'm glad we have the character search just this once so I can laugh at how you've decided to attack something you haven't even seen.
...which you could sell for 700 gil apiece on the market board, which would solve your money problems pretty damn quick. But no, you'd rather just complain about it. To wit...
This is just nonsense. The one and only result of having money accumulate in a game economy is rampant inflation. You want the game to shower you in gil for just being at endgame. What you want is bad design, and you want it because you are lazy. Stop it.
Quite frankly, there is too much gil in the game already. It needs to be toned down, or inflation is going to get even worse. I'm lugging around 3 million gil, personally, but that's barely enough to buy a set of HQ ilvl70 armor at current fat/coke/peacock prices. Prices are so damn high because there's too much gil floating around.
This is just the rubbish from above rehashed. You want to accumulate gil for doing nothing, and that won't happen. You get gear from your dungeon runs, and that's all you deserve to get. If you want to be a trader, then start trading things.
You haven't played TOR even recently, because tank queues have always been instant and DPS queues have always taken an hour or more. This is despite the balanced class ratios of TOR, which was one of its strengths -- there were plenty of healer and tank specs to go around. Of course, there was no dungeon finder at release; it took 6 months before they added one, and by that time, the TORtanic had already sailed.
