new players please do Guild hests

For those of you who are completely new to a MMO( or others who have transferred over from something else) please Run guild hests, it will make all the difference when you jump into a dungeon and play your role. Reason i am posting this and saying this is because i just got done doing some runs(about 12 in total) and in abut 4 or 5 of those cases i ran into 2 Tanks and 3 Cnjs who didnt fully under stand what they were supposed to do. Obviously i helped them out and ran through the best we could but the GH's help and explain your role in a 4 man group and let you understand what to do. So please run your guild heasts :P).

Amen to the tutorials. They're quite well done actually. You forgot to mention the massive amount of xp you get for finishing a guildhest for the first time, as an added incentive.

Remember the best results come from using both the carrot and the stick.

In all honesty I forgot all about Guild Hests, I will have to give them a go.

I also encourage every new player to do all of them once for the EXp it gives

some new player doesn't know how to open guildhest, because you need to talk to some battlemaster in your starting area..
imo it should be auto opened once you reach level 10

(and do you realize that guildhest is like a simulator of your next dungeon or trial?)

I'm a complete noob to MMO's , but the first two dungeons went without a hitch (almost).

I would love to try these guildhests but I haven't seen any. Where do you get them?

it's at the battlemaster npc of your first area (if you are marauder then it should be la noscea)
pretty sure its on swiftperch, western la noscea

oh cool... i didnt know they included 8man guilsleve.. i was kind of wondering how a xungeon works with so many ppl and if it was like 2 healer, 2 tanks and 4 dps .. good to know these also have 8 man practice ...

The introductory Guildhests are a must.

Basic Training: Enemy Parties (Level 10)
Under the Armor (Level 10)

Both the above are very fast and should cover roles in a reasonably non-lethal way.

Basic Training: Enemy Strongholds (Level 15)
Hero on the Halfshell (Level 15)

Reinforce on what the two starter ones did and get the point over that you must pay attention to the objectives - especially in Hero on the Halfshell. How many of us have screamed at people to quit attacking the turtle!

All these are fast to complete and also not a bad way to get a bit of extra coin and experience as you are questing.

I encourage people to do them all before the story quest dungeons.
