For Paladins, just wondering what everyone is going to get first.
I'm just torn between a piece of AF2 armor or Relic+1?
Any advice & suggestions would be appreciated.

I actually had a debate over this yesterday. What it came down to really was unless you had an Allagan or AF2 Headpiece to equip along with the AF2 body PLD/WAR won't get quite as much out of it, since most jobs who upgrade to their AF2 body gets about +10 to each stat over their DL body counterpart.
Here's what you get from upgrading each.
HDL vs AF2 Body/ AK Head
Defense: 2
STR: 6
VIT: 8
Parry: 2
Acc/Det: 2 (+30 Crit. Rate vs. +15Acc, +17 Det)
Relic Sword/Shield vs +1 Sword/Shield
Weapon Dmg: 2
Block STR/Rate: 14
STR: 4
VIT: 6
Parry: 4
Acc: 3
Just from observation the +1 Relic/Shield would pull out just slightly ahead over the AF2/AK setup just because Weapon Damage and Block STR/Rate has a more direct mathmatical impact than a few extra points of Def, STR, and VIT. Then again the bonus differences between the two are so small you have to consider things like luck will probably have a greater impact on the final numbers than the actual math itself.

Relic +1 would be my go to, last night from boredom i did AK with my relic sword and +1 shield in my swim suit. And it was easy as cake. Tried same run with a level 49 sword/shield and full DL armor, was a bloody up hill battle.
