Yda's my favourite NPC in the game, and I'm wondering if her look/equipment is actually found in the game, and if so, what are they called/where I can get them? Anyone knows?

I want Minfilia's Armor!
i believe the headress is probably a turban, her top is a disciple of war vest, and she wears a pair of sabatons (any lvl, just dye them red).
u must, however, be mrd or gld to wear them, though, cuz her sabatons could only be worn by mrd or gld.
Which is odd considering her class is PGL.
As for Minfilia, ironically her 1.0 appearance was just standard gear players could acquire easily enough in the game, although at the time gear dyeing wasn't available so it was not often possible to come by the exact same gear colours as she wore, but now, just dye a hyur halterneck, culottes and hard leather boots pink, and create a blonde haired female Midlander hyur with her hair in a ponytail, and you'll basically have Minfilia's 1.0 appearance.![]()
She's probably my favorite NPC as well. Also, she is without a doubt the most powerful Scion damage-wise and just an all around badass.
Yeah, sorry I wasn't more clear. I was talking about Yda here. No big deal. That's arguable - in 1.0 she did no fighting whatsoever, and her ability with the Echo even she admitted was not as potent as the player (she could only view another's memories and not understand other unknown languages, unlike the player who could do both). I haven't completed the ARR main storyline yet so I have no idea if she actually does any actual combat, but again, I doubt she would fight even still, as she always seemed very pacifistic to me and didn't appear to be the sort of person to throw herself into battle.

Pretty sure they're referring to Yda the pugilist here and not Minfilia...That's arguable - in 1.0 she did no fighting whatsoever, and her ability with the Echo even she admitted was not as potent as the player (she could only view another's memories and not understand other unknown languages, unlike the player who could do both). Oops, you're right! I'm sorry I misread!
Yda came across as more comic relief for me though, especially in 1.0 (*cough cough* original starting Gridania cutscene *cough cough*), as she just spent most of her time constantly bickering with Papalymo, but she did often have moments of clarity ("You know, for supposedly being the smart one, you can be awfully stupid at times!").
And she was the only one who managed to actually land a hit on Gaius during Future's Perfect, even if all it did was just knock him back, while Y'shtola, Thancred and Papalymo just ran around ineffectively chucking things at him to no effect.
Thank you for that clarification.![]()
I want a chocobo porter hat. >_>
