I for one am stoked to be seeing massive environment changes each patch, will be cool to see every city change and mold into new Eorzea.. and screw the Goobue mount, I wanna see a Meteor crash into Eorzea lol.. and not through youtube like many say they would, I wanna have eorzea as immersive as possible..

I still don't get the whole "real time" thing. Is the eorza going to start literally changing its appearance daily? O.o

any kind of like world change ( like he zones and whatnot) ...thats not going to happen, it just cant, the new zones and a bunch of features are built on the 2.0 engine and graphics. Until 2.0 its going to be laying out more groundwork, some content and some story bits as to why things will change. Don't expect merical changes just because they started charging, its going to be the same even if they didnt until 2.0

I don't believe there will be too many drastic changes to the environment for 1.0. The months leading to 2.0 may see some basic changes, and maybe different weather effects/conditions. 2.0 will see the biggest change of course.

No reason to waste resources on a landscape you're only going to have for a few months.

I'm wondering if someone will be recording and taking all the times we've had through this first year and so of the game, and release a video about the old as we get into the new of this game.

If I get access to supportive people in Besaid - people willing to help me make it happen - I can probably produce some video trailers that chronicle such things. There is one already a work in progress, but it's been stalled due to a lack of player interest in helping me finish it.

Hi, sorry for the bump.

I've really enjoyed what they have done so far. This last patch was the main reason for me staying. The world is very dead but the past few weeks its becoming more alive, which is amazing! Good job on this last patch, probably by far my favorite. Wonder what's in patch 1.23b
