Don't panic, Angeldust, this quote is ancient and came long before your arrival. Your ability to find the perfect solution to every problem that has been presented to you is miraculous.
i dont think you can please everyone for sure but i think you can at least try to give every party in the game something. this would require to work on 14 and not other projects so that a small team will not made smaller but its just me the toxic guy who "hate" this game i guess. Here some examples about what i talking
- casual and raid update
- use systems like achievement points
- reward hard content and dont forget the casual
- use the Map for more then just story ( treasures, events and so on )
- make sidequest usefull and not just mapfiller
- alt friendliness
- reward raider who clear the content early ( a bit like wow with ahead of the curve )
- reduce Timegateing
- bring more glam ingame instead of shop
- more customization for characters
- stop using the simple way and avoide long hairstyles
- Class changes
- catch up mechanics beside of having Gil
i think you get the drill here. People over time gave enough feedback here. I think if they wouldnt do like 3 projects at the same time or would have a bigger team, then they could adress this issues. Maybe even with a good balance like split it into 2 parts .0 patch for casual and QoL .5 for high end ( just an example )
