We really should be able to glamour other jobs' sets

Til you're a healer or tank in a duty and you go to heal the bard or black mage , or use cover on them to save them, but you just used your ability on the wrong one because that bard wants to look like a mage , now the party wiped cuz you made a stink about dressing in mage af gear as a phys ranged

You're absolutely entitled to your opinion to not want glamour to be unlocked, even if I disagree, but this quoted message is just... what? I genuinely don't think a single person actually looks at someone's character model to decide when or how to buff or heal them.

There's Legacy Warrior armor on the mogstation anyone can wear. I run around as a WHM wearing full heavy armor and a warhammer sometimes. I have never once been confused as a tank.

I don't have hopes for anything other than just small QoL to the current system (more slots, etc).

I feel any glamour changes would be too big not to be announced at a FanFest. Just look at the commotion that the dye channels caused.

I agree, although getting rid of role restrictions isn't as fundamental of a change as two dye channels are. Might be coping but it wouldn't surprise me if it were announced as a regular patch feature at some point during DT.

Heaving myself back here from Dragon's Dogma 2 - a beloved, flawed, BELOVED game - that has taken steps to allow free-glam. NOWGRANTED I don't wanna see unrestricted glam locked behind a specific job like DD2 just to get ahead of the sweaty monkey paw curling a finger back into the worst possible interpretation of my wish >.> But still even an old fossily throwback like DD2 [said with affection] has somewhat adapted!
