I dont expect anything from 6.5 untill 7.0 to be serious

They are in salesman mode, trying to make people pre-order and hear what they want to hear

As far as we know, an educated guess is that they are probably working on 7.1 or 7.2 right now, so we wont know if what Yoshida says in interviews is being considered untill way later

He was already playing WoW, which means he's corrupted.

The dungeon environment itself is basically always the same with the background swapped out, do one dungeon and you've done all of them.

They could double the damage that everything in the dungeon does and it wouldn't make them any more interesting to run.
To be honest, it isn't that they aren't interesting as much as they aren't very fun. They are being used as a story telling medium more than as a thing to play through and this can be illustrated with something like comparing Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night's levels compared to a dungeon done in this game. However, I get why they are the way they are because I remember Praetorium. Personally, my favorite style of dungeon is Mauradon and Scarlet Monastery from Classic WoW since they were exploratory zones and you could go off the given path to take on additional enemies for loot. Sort of like if you were doing a leveling roulette and wanted to get gear for an alt job, you could do the main three bosses and conclude the dungeon, or divert, go kill the bosses that were for the prior wing, then round your way back to do the next wing. Everything was interconnected and there were no cutscenes, just these big areas that someone could even stick easter eggs in.

Unless he wants a Soulsborne game, stressful MMO do not fly in the current era.

New World, Crowfall,Wildstar, etc....were all fairly new "Hardercore" MMO that either shutdown or declined rather quickly. Meanwhile, the MMO king has been running since the early 2000s and is fairly casual. Lost Ark, BDO, ESO, etc are all casual stress free MMO, unless you want to make it stressful with specific events.

Want a game that does not hold your hand? Go play XI lol.....bet you won't last a week haha.......

.......You kids think ya know what you want.........You don't want an harder FF game, trust me.
(Fighting Maat in the early 2000s or you can't level anymore.....)

This just reminds me so much of blizzards "you think you do, but you don't" when talking about wanting to play classic again.
I don't need a random person online telling me what I want and don't want. I'll trust my own thoughts.

He's probably just talking about the relic again. I don't think this means we're getting harder content.

Idk, I'd say modern XI is pretty hand holdy nowadays. What with the Trusts from RoE and all.

I mean, sure it's still way less hand holdy than XIV, but I mean... Rhapsodies gives explicit quest direction most of the time.

Back in my day, by cracky, you had to use context clues to remember which NPC or location was being referred to, and then you had to do some guess work! And by that, I mean got to FFXIallakhazam or FFXIclopedia and see if someone had the answer/progress posted up yet.

I just did Dead Ends and only meeped up once and died. That was my fault, though. To be clear to everyone else, I said I found them difficult, not unplaybale. The thing is, I play games to relax and enjoy myself. What we have is fine, but I don't want it turning into a something that feels like a job, where I need a degree to play.

You know it doesn't have to be 0 or 100 right? You can have a middle ground. Using YoshiP's example of a side scroller... FFXIV feels like a Super Mario World game where there are no pits, no enemies, and no hazards. It's just a hallway to the end of the level. Introducing holes, hazards, and enemies does not automatically mean Kaizo Mario. No one is asking for Kaizo Mario.

Sage has failed to live up to the fantasy of a sci-fi DPS healer. Please change this for 8.0. Make Sage fast, exciting, and aggressive. It should feel like a healer that plays like a DPS. Empower the aspects of Sage's unique healing mechanics: Kardia and Eukrasia to give its healing playstyle more identity.
