I could care less if they wanted to put a anti - cheat in. They already have my credt info how invasive would it be really? Doubt they would be looking for your porn history ect..

Well, under Japanese law they can't implement anti-cheat software.
The only work around is to have the NA/EU/OCE datacenters launch under Square Enix NA to circumvent the Japanese laws of having the game owned by Square Enix JP.
And at that point, half of the playerbase go back to playing IMVU and the other half complain the game is dead.
Can we stop repeating this provably false stuff? Elden Ring has EAC. You know, a japanese game. They are probably too lazy or too incompetent, considering they dont even do basic memory scans which is why all the plugin stuff is not detectable. FF14 is genuinely a side project for square. Trying to come up wit any excuses for all the flaws of the game is just coping.Well, under Japanese law they can't implement anti-cheat software.

Creamy Tuscan Chicken
Ingredients
for 4 servings
4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
2 teaspoons salt, for the chicken
1 teaspoon pepper, for the chicken
1 tablespoon oil
3 cloves garlic, chopped
½ onion, diced
1 tomato, diced
2 cups spinach
2 cups heavy cream
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
½ cup grated parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons fresh flat-leaf parsley, chopped
Preparation
Season the chicken all over with salt and pepper.
Heat the oil in a skillet over medium-low heat.
Place the chicken thighs skin side down in the skillet and cook for about 13 minutes to crisp up the skin. Move the chicken around from time to time to ensure it cooks evenly. The skin should be hard to the touch.
Flip the chicken, then cook for about another 15 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through. Remove from pan.
Add the garlic and onion, stirring until onions are translucent. Stir in the tomatoes and spinach until the spinach is wilted.
Add the heavy cream, salt, and pepper, bringing to a boil.
Add the Parmesan cheese and parsley, stirring until the sauce has thickened slightly.
Place the chicken back in the pan, spooning the sauce on top of the chicken.
Should take around an hour to prepare/cook.
got to give that one a go as well
for a year, would you rather be secretly filmed at random moments and have the footage uploaded to your social media or loose $100 when ever you said a curse word?
Well, you see, they don't need an intrusive anti-cheat system. They could for instance, simply send a takedown request for Mare and their servers. They should eliminate these networks that accept money disguised as "donations" to develop software that abuses the Terms of Service.
Square Enix has become too complacent with not doing anything, it's time for them to step up their game.
Mare now has 100,000 confirmed accounts:
How much longer will they allow this blight to rage? We all came here to play Final Fantasy, not VRChat. This isn't meant to be a make your own game experience.
We need to raise our voices and compel Square Enix to take action.
bruh lmao what is wrong with you, how does people having fun hurt you this badly ? How unhappy with your life are you that people having fun in a video game looking different than you hurts you this badly ? It literally has no impact on you whatsoever, but the simple fact that people are having fun is just hurting you and you seem to be unable to handle the fact that others can have fun. Too bad for you, it's there to stay.Well, you see, they don't need an intrusive anti-cheat system. They could for instance, simply send a takedown request for Mare and their servers. Because having those "ilegal" mods are becoming the standard in the community. Oh you are not using Mare with 2000 mods attached to your character? Yikes you aren't part of the group.bruh lmao what is wrong with you, how does people having fun hurt you this badly ? "Bruh why you don't have mare? Here install this, pay for this, you are missing the true FFXIV Experience bruh"
Basically RMTs and bots are having fun you know?
Gill sellers , +18 services etc, there are so many wrong things in this game but SE won't do anything as long they can brag about big numbers.
Dealing with gil sellers is like dealing with a hydra, cut off one head and two more grow back. There isn't an easy way of handling it imo and idiots will still fall for their scams regardless so the funnel of gil isn't really going to end.Because having those "ilegal" mods are becoming the standard in the community. Also, the reality that people seem to ignore is that ERP isn't against the ToS. Is it annoying to look at? Sure, but it's literally in the ToS that encounters like that are fine as long as both parties are consenting and aren't doing it in the middle of Limsa in shout chat. You'd have more wiggle room with reporting if that was the case rather than being done behind closed doors at someone's house.
I've also never seen Mare become this exclusive group that hates on anyone who doesn't mod but I also don't get involved in that side of things so maybe there's harassment going on daily. *shrug* I've just personally never seen it.

I also meet people who ask for mare, and if you say no, its no, I have never heard of people getting "denied" friendship or anything of the likes because they dont have mare, and I dont see why they would.Because having those "ilegal" mods are becoming the standard in the community. Also mare is free, you dont have to pay anything, so not sure what you mean by that ? There is no money tied to mare ?
They probably are referring to the fact that the dev takes donations to help keep the servers running, not that it's required to pay to use Mare.I also meet people who ask for mare, and if you say no, its no, I have never heard of people getting "denied" friendship or anything of the likes because they dont have mare, and I dont see why they would.
