Yes, but only on my Elezen alt. It's a shame her glamour is made of mostly fending gear and can't be used on other jobs, even though very little about the ensemble says "I am a tank."

no i've never gotten any /tells from anyone ingame in my 11 years of playing (and from all the /tell horror stories i've heard about limsa i hope to continue my streak of not getting any /tells)

I always give plenty compliments myself as well, because I love seeing good glams and well put together chars. Sometimes it's just the character design, sometimes the themes, the color combinations, making an especially difficult piece work, pulling off something unique, being cute, being sexy, being badass, fitting well into the world NPC style, sometimes people just really play to the strengths of their character and sometimes they didn't even glam at all and by pure chance happened upon a leveling piece that just suits them. That deserves a compliment as well cause at the end of the day it's about appreciation.

Yes and it's weird cause most of the time it's just dungeon or raid gear glamored over tome gear or a new player thinking current tome gear is cool or cute looking. Though more often the /tell is a random person saying my character is cute. A lot of the time they then try to continue what normally is up to that point been a one sided conversation. I don't even try to make cute glamors either.

I have gotten some compliments about looks over the years, like 2 or 3 times, though my character does rather stand out I suppose...

It would probably happen more if I hanged out in Limsa, but I rather not.

I get a tell or compliment in party chat every now and again about how cute my lala looks. I think people are a lot more forthcoming complimenting cuteness.

Yes, though it has been awhile since it has happened last, but I can think of a few occasions. When I cosplay a character, someone usually notices and will mention it in chat rather than a /tell. It always makes me feel good, so I try to send out a some compliments as well when someone's glamours make me look twice their way.

Generally if I were to compliment, it would be them, and not the cosplay.

Like the one guy who was dressed Like shaggy.<though if their intention or not> at Radz a week or so ago in Bryn.

It looked pretty damn good, but I wouldn't compliment them directly.

When I walk through Limsa the number of top flight glamours is actually astoundingly high and I don't mean the sleaze glam either, I mean the ones that are classy and clearly had a bit of effort put into assembling them. Walk past the marketboards and there's always at east three to four people looking super fly.
