So I was looking through the Eorzea Collection checking out sets, and I found this really funny, so I'm gonna play a little game here for anyone interested. It's time to play pin the role on the gearset: Crystarium edition. Here's an image of all the gearsets from the Crystarium set, and you tell me in order from left to right which set that gear belongs to...
How many did you guess correctly?

Oh yeah, that's a good one, the funniest thing is that you could probably do this with basically every other set and nobody would correctly guess everything.
Some really good examples are Darbar, Imperial (lvl 83), Manusya, and the Abyssos sets. And that's just from Endwalker.

I logged out for the day and I don't really want to disrupt my existing glamour plates, but I can think of several.

The one that comes to mind is my Saber Alter glam from Fate Stay Night. I wanted to include her "visor" from when she was originally summoned. The High Allagan Striking visor would have been perfect, and I had some other alternatives as well - but none for Fending. But I was making the glam for DRK, so the best I could get was the sleep mask from Puppet's Bunker.

But DOL/H glam isn't to be slept on. The various Alchemist coats would go great on healers and casters. But also, there are various Goldsmith and Weaver tops that would be great "gentleman/woman gunslinger" outfits, and Machinists should have access to Blacksmith gear anyways since they work with the machines.

Fun fact: The Korean Mogstation has level 70 DoH/L items as glamour from quite a while ago;

You could make the plate if you want to share some designs, then just not save them.

You’re kidding......I’ve been wanting to be able to wear doh/l in dungeons since forever.....not by mogstation means though...

I'd mentioned this in the other thread about unlocking glamours, but to all the naysayers: The fact that these images are even possible means that the requisite systems are literally already in the game.

Yeah about that. I wonder what system do they use for glam preview. Is it really that hard to implement it in normal glam system...

I think it's probably what we've been speculating for a while now: the game doesn't (can't?) distinguish between being able to equip gear versus just glamour it, they're the same thing as far as it's concerned
