They should really move unobtainables from removed quests somewhere else.

It's not for me since I joined so late that I've lost my chance at just about everything, but I've got a pal who gave up on the game because the thought of seeing someone else with a particular discontinued title that he wants to use so badly would be the straw that broke the camel's back, so to speak. That does make me wonder though, why DIDN'T they move all of these things elsewhere? I don't know if it happens every time, but at least this time around when they simplified a game system and cut a questline out because of it, a title became a victim of this. Hell, stick it in the achievement vendor somehow. I'm pretty sure they've done that with another reward previously on at least one occasion. I'm not even talking 1.0 or holiday/special event stuff. Just regular things everyone would get eventually. Until it stopped.

Again, it's an issue that doesn't affect me because I'm not looking for it myself and I've mostly come to terms with all the crap I'll never, ever be able to get unless I had a time machine, but apparently it's much more important for other people to get certain things that would otherwise have been in reach if they had the means.

I'm pretty sure unobtainable titles are removed from the achievement list already, and they're not going to be taken away from the players who already earned them.

Edit to add: Also you can't stick titles in the achievement vendor. They only come from quests.

If you mean like, old top 100 pvp rewards, then i don't think they should come back but recolors of the mounts should, i'm still pretty pissed the robot from ff13 is exclusive to 0.01% of the playerbase and i will never have a chance to even attempt to obtain it

I assume you're talking about something specific here but for the life of me I can't think of what. What changed recently that made a non-seasonal/crossover/PvP title unobtainable?

Actually, they probably could come up with a way to do it. The Saint/Beatus titles from Firmament were rewarded by consuming the voucher mailed to the ranking players, triggering the achievement and giving access to the title.

It's more a question of should they make now unobtainable titles available through other methods. If a title was always intended to be available only for a limited time and promoted to the player base as such, they'd get a considerable amount of heat if they brought them back.

Off the top of my head the "Lighter than Air" title you used to get from unlocking flying in Tailfeather. That quest was removed when they shifted the unlock to completion of ARR.

I have every minion in the game EXCEPT for one from a soundtrack that doesn't include the minion code in reprints re-released recently. It's beyond frustrating. 440\441 is annoying to look at.

I have every emote in the game EXCEPT for one from the Shiva statue which sold out before I even saw it was on sale.

Not many probably noticed but for example Feast went away and it had achievements with titles/accessories that were tied to playing as a premade and winning matches but those were removed instead of changed to include "Crystal Conflict" like the rest of the achievements
